A leading research organization in Singapore is seeking a research engineer to develop new optomechanical systems. You'll engage in hands-on lab work, setting up optical systems and maintaining vacuum systems. Candidates with a Bachelor's or Master's in Physics, Optics, or Engineering are encouraged to apply. Experience in optics, lasers, or programming is an advantage. Training will be provided for suitable candidates.
We are developing a new class of optomechanical systems which use metasurfaces for optical control of mechanical motion. These systems would be powerful tools for sensing, fundamental physics, and quantum technologies. We are seeking a research engineer to help build the experimental system. This role involves hands on lab work such as:
The Quantum Sensing and Metrology pillar works at the interface of optics, quantum sensing, and fundamental physics. We are based at the Quantum Innovation Centre (Q.InC), A*STAR, and collaborate closely with researchers across Singapore and internationally.
