A leading university in Singapore is seeking a Technical Specialist focused on testing and validation for energy-related applications. The ideal candidate will develop test requirements, conduct hands-on testing, and collaborate with various stakeholders. Applicants should possess a Master's degree in engineering and have at least two years of relevant experience, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office applications.
Established in 2010, the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is a pan-university research institute that focuses on systems-level research for tropical megacities. It performs translational research that covers the energy value chain from generation to innovative end-use solutions, motivated by industrialisation and deployment. ERI@N has multiple Interdisciplinary Research Programmes which focus on translational Research, Development & Deployment which focus on specific area of the energy value chain, and a number of Living labs and Testbeds which facilitate large scale technology deployment enabling validation and demonstration of real-world applications.

ERI@N is establishing capabilities and physical test setups to support emerging industry requirements for testing and verification of energy related applications such as energy storage systems (ESS), microgrid solutions, photovoltaic (PV) inverters, and electric vehicle (EV) charging systems. This position is to recruit a member of the key technical team.
You will need to actively support R&D projects at EPGC in terms of project development, testing and verification/validation activities, test logistics planning/coordination, and sourcing and procurement.
