Job Description

We are seeking two highly motivated Research Engineers with excellent design and 3D drawing skills to join the Development of the Next Generation Ammonia Engine project. The successful candidates will be involved in the design and 3D drawing of the high-efficiency ammonia engine and the advanced engine laboratory, as well as the illustration of new engine concepts. Major duties and responsibilities include:

  • 3D drawing of the ammonia engine includes the redesign and drawing of the piston, intake and exhaust manifolds, plenum, heat exchanger, mixer, and the EGR system, etc.
  • Designing and 3D drawing the engine lab layout and the overall system of ammonia engines.
  • Engine performance evaluation using the CONVERGE engine simulation software, with a focus on engine geometry model drawing and preprocessing.
  • Design and illustration of new engine concepts for visualization and presentation.
  • Collect and process the research data.
  • Design and manage the website of the research group.
  • Project-related issues include coordinating with contractors and collaborators.
Qualifications

The candidate must:

  • Major in Engineering Design, Environment Design, Energy and Power Engineering.
  • At least three years of work experience or engine experiment experience.
  • Strong software skills include SolidWorks (for engine design and simulation), SketchUp and AutoCAD (for engine lab design), Photoshop (for new concept illustration).
  • Creative and capable in data and new concept visualization.
  • Experience in engine laboratory and interior design, with a strong background in managing laboratory and interior infrastructure and renovation works.
  • Skilled in the engine simulation software CONVERGE, with experience in engine geometry model drawing and preprocessing. Familiar with the engine lab layout and the overall system of ammonia engines.
  • Experience in website design and management.
  • The portfolio of relevant works (design and drawing for engine, lab, and concept illustration) is attached to the CV.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
