An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated researcher to join the Centre for Holistic Initiatives for Learning and Development (CHILD), Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. The position can be at the Research Associate, Research Fellow, or Senior Research Fellow level, commensurate with experience.
The Centre brings together experts in the field of translational research, child health and development, and implementation science to accelerate the use of evidence in policy and practice and give every child the best start in life.
The successful candidate will support the Centre by i) conducting evidence synthesis projects aligned to the Centre's strategy and key priorities, ii) leading science communication and dissemination outputs, including peer-reviewed publications and other knowledge mobilization efforts for our website and social media channels, and iii) providing supervision and mentorship to team members supporting our science communication products and other dissemination activities.
The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to collaborate on evidence synthesis projects with an international team of supervisors and mentors, providing ample experiences to produce high-quality products and publications within the fields of child health/development, behavioural and implementation science, and the social sciences.
A PhD or Masters in Psychology/Behavioral Science/Public Health/Education/Sociology/Social Work/Communication or a related discipline.

They will have excellent writing, presentation, and project management skills. They can perform data analysis/data visualization and willingly learn from others and share knowledge with others. He or she fits into, supports, and builds up CHILD's open and positive work culture. The successful candidate will be supervised by Dr. Keri McCrickerd (NUS) and co-mentored by Dr. Jason Chow (Vanderbilt University).
The Centre for Holistic Initiatives for Learning and Development or CHILD was established under the umbrella of the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (NUS Medicine) with the Lien Foundation. In collaboration with partners—the Centre for Evidence and Implementation (CEI) and A*STAR's Singapore Institute for Clinical Sciences (SICS)—CHILD brings together experts in the field of translational research, child development, and implementation science to help give children the best start to life.
