Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Dr Ying Kai LOH on the synthesis and isolation of next-generation carbene species under a project on Breaking the Octet Rule: From Octet-Defying Carbon Species to Transition Metal Surrogates.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

  • Setting up/managing the lab
  • Conduct experiments
  • Mentor undergraduate/graduate students
