Role Overview

The role supports the equity research coverage of the ASEAN industrial sector, assisting the senior analyst in providing investment recommendations and sector insights for listed companies across ASEAN markets. Responsibilities include developing detailed financial models, analysing financial data, industry research and supporting the generation of investment ideas and production of research reports. The position offers strong exposure to institutional investors, corporate management teams and internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a clear pathway towards assuming full analyst coverage responsibility over time.

In This Role You Will
  • Work as part of ASEAN research team to support coverage of the industrial sector
  • Build, update and maintain detailed financial and valuation models under the guidance of the lead analyst
  • Conduct company and industry research, including tracking operation and earnings, regulatory developments and etc
  • Assist in preparing research reports, including company initiations, earnings updates, and thematic or sector reports
  • Participate in conference calls, investor events, and company meetings to gain industry insights and support research
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to respond to client requests and contribute to idea generation

  • Strong foundation in accounting, financial modelling and valuation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to details
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A self-motivated learner with a strong interest in equity research and the ASEAN industrials space
  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight timelines
  • A collaborative team player with proactive mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline preferred
  • Less thn 3 years relevant experience in equity research or related financial service industry
