Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Assoc Prof Yip Hon Kay John on synthesis of transition metal complexes under a project on "Luminescent metal complexes" (MOE Tier 1 grant).

The main responsibilities of the position include:

  • Daily operation of a synthetic laboratory
  • Research including synthesis and characterization of inorganic and organic molecules

Qualifications / Discipline: BSc (Hons) Major in Chemistry

Skills: Basic chemical synthesis, NMR spectroscopy

Experience: Undergraduate research in inorganic/organic chemistry is preferred
