A leading university in Singapore is seeking a suitable candidate to work on the synthesis of luminescent metal complexes. The role involves daily operations of a synthetic laboratory and research in the synthesis and characterization of inorganic and organic molecules. Required qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry and skills in basic chemical synthesis and NMR spectroscopy.

The successful candidate will work with Assoc Prof Yip Hon Kay John on synthesis of transition metal complexes under a project on "Luminescent metal complexes" (MOE Tier 1 grant).
The main responsibilities of the position include:
Qualifications / Discipline: BSc (Hons) Major in Chemistry
Skills: Basic chemical synthesis, NMR spectroscopy
Experience: Undergraduate research in inorganic/organic chemistry is preferred
