Role Summary

The Research and Implementation Personnel will be responsible for providing critical support to a research study evaluating the effectiveness of the Special Education (SPED) Teaching and Learning Syllabuses. This role involves active participation in research implementation, data management and analysis, literature reviews, and direct support for syllabus implementation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
  • Research Study Support: Supporting the implementation process of the research study on the effectiveness of the SPED Teaching and Learning Syllabuses, including logistical coordination and site liaison
  • Data Management & Analysis: Recording, analysing and evaluating data relating to the research study and associated stakeholder engagement sessions. This includes ensuring data integrity and contributing to research reports
  • Syllabus Implementation Support which may involve developing support materials or assisting in training/briefing sessions.
  • Literature Review: Conducting literature reviews to support and inform syllabus implementation strategies and materials in SPED schools, ensuring practices are evidence-based.
Requirements
  • Qualifications (Minimum) - A Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology, Education, or Special Education, or an equivalent relevant qualification
  • Experience (Preferred) - 3 years or more of work experience in conducting literature reviews and research in the fields of psychology, education, or special education.
  • Skills and Competencies
  • Analytical and quantitative skills such as data recording and analysis, excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and stakeholder engagement.

Familiarity with SPED pedagogical practices or curriculum development is a plus.
