Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore is seeking a full-time Research Assistant in the Ho Laboratory (EID) to study Influenza A biology and pathogenesis. You will assist with planning, organizing and conducting research under supervision, applying sequencing and molecular techniques, and contributing to data analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related fields, hands-on lab skills, and strong communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related fields.
• Experience with cell culture, biochemistry, and molecular biology techniques.
• Animal work experience (rodents) and RCULA certification is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication, and computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize and conduct research within the project scope under PI supervision.
• Perform tasks and support all aspects of the research project.
• Monitor, document and report experimental results and findings accurately.
• Assist researchers with data analysis and literature reviews.
• Maintain laboratory safety and general upkeep of lab facilities and procedures.
