Job summary

The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) at the National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Assistant. The role focuses on our experimental setup for ultracold molecules and includes initial training in optics and laser technologies.

You will contribute to the experimental control system and participate in recalibrating the setup, working alongside a multidisciplinary team in a friendly, international environment.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree in physics is required with some previous research experience in experimental physics.
• Ideally, the candidate would have some experience in quantum mechanics.
• Clear communication in English is a prerequisite.

Job Description

The role of the Research Assistant isto work on our experimental setup on ultracold molecules. As a research assistant, the candidateis expected to start with basic training on optics and laser technologies, while making contributions to the experimental control system and ongoing efforts to recalibrate the setup.
