The National University of Singapore invites applications for research assistants in the Immune Cell Engineering Facility, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. The Immune cell engineering facility is primarily tasked with the manufacturing of CAR-T cell products for clinical trial use. Together with the Division of Paediatric Haematology Oncology in the Department of Paediatrics in NUH, we focus on the translation of cutting edge CAR-T cell technologies in early clinical trials for both children and adults. Appointments will be made on a yearly contract basis with the possibility of extension.
Purpose of the post
The primary responsibility of the research assistant in our group is to function as a cell engineer with relevant skills and expertise on the technical aspects of CAR T cell manufacturing. He or she will also be responsible for the documentation and filing of CAR-T cell manufacturing processes. In addition, a cell engineer is also responsible for the conduct and interpretation of some aspects of product quality testing.
