Job summary

Nanyang Technological University in Singapore invites applications for a full-time Research Assistant to support a neuroscience-based project on cognitive flexibility and learning. The role involves recruitment, data collection, and coordination across neuroimaging and language-related tasks.

The successful candidate will assist with data management, analysis, and dissemination, collaborating with psychologists, neuroscientists, linguists and educators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Psychology, Neuropsychology, Cognitive Neuroscience or a related discipline.
• Experience in adult cognitive testing and neuroimaging (fMRI, EEG) is required.
• Experience with participant recruitment processes.
• Familiarity with data management protocols and ethical/regulatory frameworks in Singapore.
• Experience producing research reports and general administration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment of young adults (18–30) from ITE, polytechnics and universities.
• Organize collection of research datasets and oversee data coding protocols.
• Standardize data entry and data analysis workflows for datasets.
• Assist with preparing conference presentations and journal papers.
• Handle other administrative duties related to the project.
