Our lab is seeking to hire a research assistant to complete dry lab work (bioinformatics and AI research).
Devise experimental plans and formulate hypotheses for conducting research in bioinformatics and AI
Work both independently and collaboratively to conduct experiments and plan for new experiments based on the findings
Responsible for publishing and presenting research work as presentations and research manuscripts as well as contributing to the writing of new grant proposals, grant reports, and so on.
Responsible for ensuring and contributing to lab safety and efficient lab operations, and any other relevant admin tasks.
Responsible for training new PhD students, junior students, interns, masters students and any other mentoring duties.
Bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics, or related field
At least 3 years of relevant experiences in similar role / technical hands‑on experience in epigenetics and bioinformatics.
Familiarity with epigenetics and bioinformatics especially AI related to epigenetics
Good written and oral communication skills
Proficiency in bioinformatics and AI.
Competent in collaboration and able to work collaboratively with other lab members
Interpersonal skills: Ability to work independently / develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and eye for details, excellent organizational and time management skills
