Our lab is seeking to hire a research assistant to complete dry lab work (bioinformatics and AI research).

Key Responsibilities
  • Devise experimental plans and formulate hypotheses for conducting research in bioinformatics and AI
  • Work both independently and collaboratively to conduct experiments and plan for new experiments based on the findings
  • Responsible for publishing and presenting research work as presentations and research manuscripts as well as contributing to the writing of new grant proposals, grant reports, and so on.
  • Responsible for ensuring and contributing to lab safety and efficient lab operations, and any other relevant admin tasks.
  • Responsible for training new PhD students, junior students, interns, masters students and any other mentoring duties.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in bioinformatics, or related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant experiences in similar role / technical hands‑on experience in epigenetics and bioinformatics.
  • Familiarity with epigenetics and bioinformatics especially AI related to epigenetics
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in bioinformatics and AI.
  • Competent in collaboration and able to work collaboratively with other lab members
  • Interpersonal skills: Ability to work independently / develop solutions under strict timelines, meticulous and eye for details, excellent organizational and time management skills
