Job Description

The NUS Global Asia Institute (GAI) is looking for a full-time Research Assistant/ Associate to support interdisciplinary research related to Chinese Medicine.

We are looking for someone with bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese and excellent writing skills. The candidate will collaborate closely with a team of world‑class researchers. Working in this Research Assistant/ Associate position will provide the candidate with hands‑on experience in project management and scientific writing.

Salary benefits will be commensurate with skillset, experience, and qualifications.

Qualifications
  • At least a Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution
  • Academic interest in Chinese Medicine
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese to support science writing and regional client engagement and documentation
  • Cultural competence and agility to adapt strategies based on local market dynamics, consumer behavior, and evolving regulatory practices in China
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and also collaborate with others
