Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience conducting qualitative research in Singapore is preferred.
  • Must be organised, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn.
  • Possessing language skills in Malay, Mandarin, Tamil is useful but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Building and maintaining a database of contacts.
  • (Snowball) sampling.
  • Conduct qualitative research with elderly residents and their caregivers.
  • Transcribing interview data.
  • Assisting the P.I. with the administrative management of the project.
  • Other adhoc tasks that will contribute to the success of the project.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • An undergraduate (Bachelor's) or postgraduate (Master's) degree by the date of appointment.
  • Have some experience conducting qualitative research in Singapore.
  • Be organised, detail-oriented and motivated to learn.
  • Possess language skills in Malay, Mandarin, Tamil (useful, but not required) to interact with research participants who might be more conversant in languages other than English.
  • Have an interest in issues related to ageing, elderly care, everyday mobilities, urban infrastructure, etc.
