Role: R&D Chef

We’re looking for a hands‑on R&D Chef who loves experimenting and moving fast. You’ll lead weekly sandwich development — from ideation to testing to launch — while working closely with the kitchen and ops team on-site.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and test new sandwich builds weekly (bread, proteins, sauces, toppings).
  • Work hands‑on during pop‑up operations to test new menu items in real time.
  • Create recipes that are craveable, efficient, and scalable for QSR‑style execution.
  • Document recipes, standardize prep methods, and manage food costs.
  • Gather guest and team feedback to refine and improve weekly specials.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to keep the menu exciting and aligned with the brand story.
Requirements
  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or equivalent hands‑on kitchen experience.
  • Strong background in recipe creation, sandwich or café concepts, or QSR development.
  • Passion for experimentation — someone who can think creatively but cook practically.
  • Excellent palate for balancing flavours, textures, and acidity.
  • Comfortable working in a small, fast‑paced team environment.
  • Organised, detail‑oriented, and proactive in problem‑solving.
  • Hands‑on and willing to be deeply involved in both R&D and daily kitchen ops.
