Alcon Singapore Manufacturing Pte Ltd is seeking an HSE professional to deploy and manage Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) programmes across our site. You will drive compliance and continuous improvement to safeguard staff and operations.

Responsibilities include leading risk assessments, conducting inspections, managing incident investigations, and coordinating crisis response plans to ensure a safe workplace for all employees and visitors.

• Deploy Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) programmes and carry out initiatives.
• Manage HSE performance including inspections and compliance checks.
• Develop HSE management systems and risk assessments for work processes.
• Support crisis management by handling incidents and emergency plans.

1. Deploy Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) programmes:
   
   
   
   • Carry-out initiatives to support HSE programmes
   
   
   • Enforce HSE compliance requirements and proper work practices
   
   
   • Address and provide counsel on instances of HSE non-compliance & unsafe work practices
   
   
   
   


2. Manage Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) performance:
   
   
   
   • Participate in WSH compliance inspections.
   
   
   • Conduct routine checks on work activities.
   
   
   • Manage WSH non-compliance, unsafe work conditions and practices.
   
   
   • Report instances of HSE non-compliance, unsafe work conditions & practices to team
   
   
   • Report findings of HSE compliance inspections and routine checks.
   
   
   • Support implementation of actions to improve HSE performance and control risks
   
   
   
   


3. Develop Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) management systems:
   
   
   
   • Assess routine and non-routine work processes to establish scope of WSH risks.
   
   
   • Develop and deliver safety briefings.
   
   
   • Execute risk management (RM) plans for work processes and work areas
   
   
   • Execute RM and risk assessment (RA) within respective work processes and work areas
   
   
   
   


4. Manage Crisis Management:
   
   
   
   • Manage incidents and accidents promptly.
   
   
   • Support HSE incident and accident investigations
   
   
   • Follow emergency preparedness & response plans (EPRPs) when responding to emergency situations
   
   
   • Assist line management to ensure full HSE coverage
