Repair Development Engineer [ Special Process ]

Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent.

3-5 years’ experience in an aerospace repair and overhaul environment.

Knowledge of repair processes such as Welding (TIG/EBW), Thermal Spray, Heat Treatment, Brazing, High Pressure Water Jet Stripping, Chemical Cleaning, Shot peening, Machining, etc

Responsibilities
  • Initiate and develop new repairs on aero‑engine components.
  • Prepare and maintain work instructions for aero‑engine component repairs.
  • Ensure compliance to OEM technical data and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage new machine and process qualifications.
  • In charge of process improvements to improve process robustness, process efficiency and repair yield.
  • Prepare First Article inspection reports.
  • Take the lead in providing technical recommendations and technical dispositions to the Operations team.
  • Actively participate and support continuous improvement/ Kaizen projects.
  • Multi‑task other engineering‑related duties as assigned.
  • Comply with the company’s health and safety rules and regulations.
