GE Vernova Singapore Services Pte. Ltd. leads Asia-based repair development within the Asia Engineering Repair Development Centre.

The role collaborates with repair shops, the Global Repair Development Centre, and engineering functions to enhance repair technologies and service performance. Accountable for delivering robust repair processes and meeting programme requirements while building foundational engineering knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Welding, Materials, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Basic proficiency in CAD software.
Basic proficiency in standard computing and engineering software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability and willingness to travel ~10% of the time.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Good organisational and project-management skills.
Lean methodologies understanding.

Responsibilities

Develop repair and inspection technologies and support process qualification, validation, and industrialization.
Deliver new and updated repair processes and programme requirements to repair facilities.
Build foundational knowledge within the relevant engineering discipline and apply technical expertise to repair-development activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical and operational issues.
For customer-facing activities, develop effective customer relationships, serve as a technical interface, exchange information, ask relevant questions, and confirm understanding.
