Job summary

A global renewable energy firm is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead a significant utility-scale project in Timor Leste. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of project execution, foster relationships with key stakeholders, and drive the project from financial closing to commissioning. Candidates must have extensive experience in the energy sector, with strong leadership and communication skills. Relocation to Dili is required for up to 3 years, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative renewable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in the Asia Pacific region, with at least 10 years in energy sector project construction.
• Must have delivered a previous complex, sizable and successful project as a Project Director.
• Fluency in English required; proficiency in Portuguese or Tetum is a plus.

• Lead project team through the full lifecycle from financial closing to operation.
• Manage relationships and communications with stakeholders.
