Job summary

stakefish is seeking a Web3 / Full-stack Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy software powering staking products. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX designers to advance decentralization and secure blockchain networks.

You will build new features, implement UI with React/TypeScript using web3.js and ethers.js, write secure Python services, and participate in modern development practices across a distributed, international team.

Qualifications

• Deep front-end development knowledge with React
• Experience with web3: blockchain and smart contracts
• Proficiency with web3.js and ethers.js libraries
• Knowledge of Ethereum and EVM concepts
• Understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Track record designing, creating, and maintaining production services
• Familiar with Linux, AWS, and Docker
• Able to work independently and set up an efficient development environment
• Basic Unix command line & shell scripting

Responsibilities

• Build new products and features meeting critical product and business needs
• Develop pixel-perfect, responsive web apps with React/TypeScript and web3.js
• Prototype and improve UIs iteratively with product/design teams
• Write secure, extensible Python server code
• Leverage automated testing, CI/CD, and container orchestration
• Collaborate to review PRs and improve the codebase
