Job summary

Keywords Studios in APAC (Malaysia or Indonesia) is expanding its team for an experienced Technical Animation Artist. This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid/remote work and the chance to bridge art and engineering on AAA projects, collaborating with animators, artists, and engineers.

You will design rigs, physics-based systems, and animation pipelines in Unreal or Unity, integrate motion capture data, and develop tools to boost productivity while maintaining high-quality, performant

Qualifications

• Experience with rigging, animation tooling, and pipeline development.
• Strong knowledge of runtime animation systems and physics components.
• Familiarity with shader scripting is a plus for deformation or skinning R&D.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with animators, character artists, and engineers to enable efficient workflows.
• Design, build, and maintain modular rigs for characters, creatures, props and facial animation.
• Implement physics-based systems including ragdoll, cloth, and spline dynamics; develop animation blueprints.
• Create tools and automated pipelines to improve productivity and ensure asset quality.
