Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Regional Threat Assessment Manager to join the Protective Intelligence program within its Security organization. This role leads end-to-end threat case management for your region, coordinating with GSOC, Legal, HR/ER, and other partners to drive coordinated response and mature regional capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of threat assessment and management experience in security.
• Senior contributor with regional SME responsibilities and cross-team influence.
• Ability to translate fragmented information into prioritized risks and mitigation plans.
• Experience coordinating with law enforcement and handling investigations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end threat case management for the region, from intake to closure.
• Lead structured behavioral threat assessments using established frameworks.
• Drive intelligence-led incident response and coordinate with GSOC and partners.
• Produce executive briefings and updates on threat posture and guidance.
• Improve intake standards, playbooks, metrics, and training; mentor peers.
