Job summary

Tonguepoint is seeking fluent bilingual interpreters for Over-the-Phone (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) in Korean and English. This is a fully remote freelance/independent contractor role with a flexible schedule and no prior experience required, as we provide full training.

You will perform real-time consecutive interpretation across settings, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. A quiet home workspace and reliable wired internet are essential for VRI work.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in English and Korean.
• Strong active listening and cultural sensitivity.
• Beginners welcome; prior interpreting experience is a plus.
• Quiet home workspace with reliable setup.
• Wired internet preferred for VRI.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time consecutive interpretation (English+Korean).
• Support OPI and VRI in healthcare and legal contexts.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Manage own schedule and log in reliably for calls.
