Responsibilities
- Cover teaching duties at The Winstedt School.
- Direct teaching and apply appropriate and effective teaching methodology to our students.
- Provide support to the class and ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment.
- Assist in development of teaching aids and resources, which include setting up the classroom and other appropriate facilities.
- Collect learning data and assess each child’s functional and educational needs.
- Prepare and submit Progress Reports to Principal as required.
- Contribute and provide professional feedback during meetings.
- Adhere to The Winstedt School policies and procedures.
- Ensure that code of conduct remains professional and ethical.
- All sensitive documents, personal notes, and communication related to students is kept private and confidential.
- Work cooperatively and effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders of the School.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Diploma in Special Needs Education preferred
- Candidate who possesses an educational certification together with 2 to 3 years of working experience in international schools will be a plus for this position.
- Enjoy working in a school environment and exploring possibilities with students.
- Good knowledge in the use of 21st century technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good time management skills and able to adhere to deadlines.
- Ability to handle pressure when dealing with multiple tasks.
Work Schedule
- Ad-hoc basis – could range between 1 to 30 days
- School hours are from Mondays to Fridays, 8.30 am to 3.30 pm
