Responsibilities
  • Cover teaching duties at The Winstedt School.
  • Direct teaching and apply appropriate and effective teaching methodology to our students.
  • Provide support to the class and ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment.
  • Assist in development of teaching aids and resources, which include setting up the classroom and other appropriate facilities.
  • Collect learning data and assess each child’s functional and educational needs.
  • Prepare and submit Progress Reports to Principal as required.
  • Contribute and provide professional feedback during meetings.
  • Adhere to The Winstedt School policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that code of conduct remains professional and ethical.
  • All sensitive documents, personal notes, and communication related to students is kept private and confidential.
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with students, teachers, and other stakeholders of the School.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
  • Diploma in Special Needs Education preferred
  • Candidate who possesses an educational certification together with 2 to 3 years of working experience in international schools will be a plus for this position.
  • Enjoy working in a school environment and exploring possibilities with students.
  • Good knowledge in the use of 21st century technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good time management skills and able to adhere to deadlines.
  • Ability to handle pressure when dealing with multiple tasks.
Work Schedule
  • Ad-hoc basis – could range between 1 to 30 days
  • School hours are from Mondays to Fridays, 8.30 am to 3.30 pm
