• Assistance in establishing an effective classroom environment.
• Contributing to maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Observe children to assist in planning a child centered curriculum.
• Assist in supporting children's social development.
• Assist in routine care of children (meal, toileting, rest).
• Maintenance of materials and resources in classrooms.
• Assist in documentation and display of children's work.
• Support positive classroom relationships.
• Assist in all preschool functions.
• Participate in preschool events as assigned.

• Observe children in play in order to assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the child centred curriculum for both the indoor and outdoor learning environments
• Assist in supporting the positive development of children’s social competencies
• Assist in the routine care of children (meal, toileting, rest)
• Maintenance of materials, resources and equipments in classrooms
• Assist in the professional documentation and display of children’s work
• Support and maintain positive classroom relationships where all members of the class are respected and valued
• Assist and support all preschool functions
• Participate in any preschool events as assigned.
