Job summary

A community service organization in Singapore is looking for a Relief Teacher to oversee children's daily routines and educational activities. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 GCE O level passes, be fluent in English and one Mother Tongue, and possess good communication and classroom management skills. Experience in a student care setting is also required. This part-time role includes working hours from 1.00pm to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Our quality after-school care service aims to develop every child to become an emotionally strong, resilient and compassionate member of society. We engage the children to think critically and creatively, and encourage them to develop their talents and gifts. We are looking for a dedicated teacher to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend to the daily routine of the children within the Centre's programme i.e. study time, meal time, rest time, study time etc.
• Prepare all materials required for daily lessons.
• Supervise indoor and outdoor play activities.
• Ensure the safety of the children at all times.
• Record in the daily log book any changes in daily schedules, any accidents or other occurrences relating to assigned classes, and also notify the immediate supervisor on such matters.
• Attend to all other reasonable requests from senior staff member on duty.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 GCE O level passes
