Our client is a wholly-owned subsidiary of one of the largest banks in Southeast Asia. They are seeking a Relationship Manager to acquire, manage, and advise client relationships within the marketing function.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Achieve annual revenue targets, net new money goals, and assigned business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding and addressing clients’ diverse financial needs.
  • Advise clients on investment products and services to grow assets under management.
  • Contribute to business development and identify potential opportunities for growth.
  • Stay informed on market trends, products, and services; provide input for new product development.
  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance in client servicing tasks.
Requirements & Preferences
  • Must:
  • Degree holder, preferably in finance, business, or related fields
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the financial industry
  • Fluent in English and Japanese (JLPT N1) – strong listening, writing, and speaking skills
  • Experience managing assets under management (AUM) of at least USD 200 million
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and client engagement skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with good business acumen
  • Advantageous:
  • Holder of CACS Papers I and II (Client Adviser Competency Standards) or willing to obtain after joining
  • Experience working in a Japanese financial institution
