Relationship Manager/ARM (Cross-border payment clients, PSP. Fintech)

We are seeking Relationship Managers (RMs) or Assistant Relationship Managers (ARMs) to join A-Team, focusing on the development and servicing of Chinese-background clients, including PSP (Payment Service Provider) clients and direct merchants.

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the payment industry (minimum 3 years), a strong understanding of payment products and compliance requirements, and proven experience in serving cross-border payment clients.

This role plays a key part in expanding our client base and providing high-quality service to strategic accounts within the PayX ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Development & Relationship Management

Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with Chinese-background PSP clients and direct merchants.

Support A-Team in expanding the client portfolio and achieving business growth targets.

Understand clients’ payment needs, provide tailored product and solution recommendations, and follow up on implementation progress.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring long‑term partnerships and high satisfaction levels.

Collaboration & Internal Coordination

Work closely with internal teams including Product, Compliance, Operations, and Technology to support client onboarding and service delivery.

Collaborate with PBOs (Payment Business Owners) and Product Support Specialists to ensure alignment between client requirements and internal capabilities.

Assist senior RMs in project follow‑up, product implementation, and issue resolution during client integration.

Qualifications & Requirements

3+ years of experience in the payment industry (preferably with domestic or cross‑border payment companies).

Deep understanding of payment products, compliance frameworks, and risk controls.

Prior experience serving PSP or cross‑border payment clients is highly preferred.

Strong relationship management, communication, and business development skills.

Fluent in Mandarin and English (both written and spoken) as one needs to manage our English and Chinese‑speaking stakeholders and clients.

Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, or related disciplines.

Preferred Attributes

Experience with merchant acquiring, payment gateway, or remittance services.

Familiarity with API‑based payment solutions and client integration processes.
