Job Description
We are seeking a Junior Relationship Management Associate to support our Relationship Managers in delivering high-quality service to High Net Worth (HNW) clients within a multi-family office environment. This role is well-suited for a university graduate with 2–4 years of relevant experience in private banking, wealth management, or a similar financial services setting, who is detail-oriented, service-driven, and a strong team player.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Relationship Managers and fellow Relationship Management Associates in building and maintaining long-term relationships with HNW & UNHW clients
- Assist with client onboarding, account opening, ongoing account maintenance, transaction processing, and service delivery in accordance with clients’ requirements
- Execute trade placements, perform trade logging, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of trades and investment activities
- Monitor and track client portfolio performance, structured products, and funding requirements; execute funding-related trades when required
- Analyse in-house asset management products, prepare investment proposals, and assist with portfolio rebalancing activities
- Conduct independent call-backs to verify client instructions in accordance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Ensure client documentation, including KYC/CDD records, call reports, and related records, are complete, accurate, and kept up-to-date
- Prepare client-facing materials, including market updates, portfolio performance reports, and investment presentations
- Perform administrative duties as required, including proper physical and electronic filing of client documents and records
- Stay informed of relevant financial, compliance, and regulatory requirements applicable to the role
- Ensure all trade execution and administrative processes are conducted in full compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university (Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline preferred)
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in private banking, wealth management, family offices, or other financial institutions
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Good understanding of financial markets and banking instruments (e.g. equities, fixed income, structured products, derivatives)
- Familiarity with KYC/CDD, AML/CFT and regulatory requirements is advantageous
- Service-oriented, a strong team player with a pleasant disposition and a strong sense of professionalism
- Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to exercise discretion when handling confidential client information
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and perform effectively under pressure, while remaining a strong team player
- Demonstrates a good work ethic, accountability, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
