Rehab – Junior Veterinary Rehabilitation & Hydrotherapy (VRH) Assistant

Department: Rehabilitation
Reports to: Senior VRH Assistant / Rehabilitation Therapist

About the Role:
As a Junior VRH Assistant, you’ll support our rehabilitation team in helping pets recover from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You’ll assist in various therapy sessions and ensure the comfort and safety of our patients during their rehabilitation journey. This is an entry-level position suitable for individuals passionate about animal care and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in implementing rehabilitation therapies such as hydrotherapy, massage, laser therapy, and exercise programs under supervision.
  • Safely handle and comfort animals during therapy sessions.
  • Prepare and maintain therapy areas and equipment, ensuring they are clean and functional.
  • Support initial evaluations and re‑assessments by setting up patients or assisting with physical assessments.
  • Educate pet owners on basic post‑therapy care and home exercises.

Requirements:

  • Genuine love and compassion for animals.
  • Willingness to learn rehabilitation techniques.
