Job summary

The Ministry of Law is recruiting for a role within the Legal Services Regulatory Authority in Singapore. You will assess licence applications for law firms, register lawyers, and support queries, enforcement frameworks, and regulatory policy development.

The position emphasises diligence, regulatory insight and clear communication, with a 1-year contract to begin. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to uphold Singapore’s legal industry standards.

Qualifications

• A degree in law, economics or accountancy and/or experience in legal, regulatory and/or compliance work would be relevant, but degrees from other disciplines and fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assess and make recommendations on law firms’ applications for a law practice licence or register their lawyers.
• Assist in queries from applicants and stakeholders.
• Help formulate the enforcement framework and procedures.
• Contribute to shaping LSRA’s regulatory policies for the legal industry.
