Job summary

A leading safety management firm in Singapore seeks a Senior Fire Safety Manager to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, conduct inspections, and manage emergency response plans. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of relevant experience and holds a Certified Senior Fire Safety Manager qualification. This role offers a competitive salary with allowances and bonuses, working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Proficient in communication, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Able to respond to urgent situations, including weekends or after office hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Singapore Fire Safety Codes and related regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of fire safety systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and rectify any fire safety deficiencies or non-compliance issues.
• Plan and conduct fire drills to familiarise staff and tenants with evacuation procedures.
• Review and update the Emergency Response Plan (ERP) to reflect current standards and site conditions.
• Prepare and submit annual fire safety reports and liaise with relevant authorities as required.
• Support internal audits, incident reviews, and continuous fire safety improvements.
• Perform other duties related to fire safety management as assigned by the management team.

Requirements

• Certified Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) recognised by SCDF.
• Good understanding of fire safety codes, risk assessment, and emergency procedures.
• At least 5 years’ experience in fire safety or facilities management, preferably within defence or large-scale projects.
• Proficient in communication, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Able to respond to urgent situations, including weekends or after office hours, when required.
