Job summary

OAC Aviation Orthopaedic Specialist Clinic is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to support surgeons during consultations and procedures, provide wound care and post-operative nursing, and ensure high standards of infection control in a busy clinic.

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Degree in Nursing, be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board with a valid practising certificate, and have 2+ years of nursing experience; orthopaedic or surgical exposure is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) with valid practising certificate.
• 2+ years of nursing experience preferred; orthopaedic/surgical exposure is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Orthopaedic Specialists during consultations and procedures.
• Provide wound dressing and post-operative nursing care.
• Aid with minor procedures, injections, aspirations and suture removal.
• Deliver pre- and post-operative patient education and follow-up.
• Coordinate investigations, surgery arrangements and appointments.
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
• Ensure infection control, stock management and smooth clinic operations.

• Provide pre- and post-operative patient education and follow-up
• Coordinate investigations, surgery arrangements and appointments
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records
• Ensure proper infection control, stock management and smooth clinic operations

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing
• Registered with theSingapore Nursing Board (SNB)with valid practising certificate
• Preferably2 years or more nursing experience
• Orthopaedic, surgical, OT, outpatient or wound-care experience is an advantage
• Good communication and patient-care skills
• Responsible, proactive and able to work independently
