Qualifications

• 10+ years of increasing responsibilities in Environmental, Health, and Safety programs.
• Currently a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO).
• Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health.

Responsibilities

• Lead a WHS team and create leadership development plans.
• Review data and create strategic plans for a safer workplace.
• Complete risk assessments related to hazards.
• Develop local site WHS procedures.
• Analyze safety metrics and report incident trends.
• Measure site performance against safety policies.
• Deliver quality projects to Operations.
• Perform WHS audits to identify compliance issues.
• Lead and mentor Safety Associates.
• Ensure contractor management safety processes.
• Manage compliance requirements.
