Location: Singapore (Regional coverage: Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong)
Role Summary
The Regional Trade Marketing Manager plays a key role in driving sell-out and brand visibility across modern trade and retail channels. The role bridges brand strategy and commercial execution, ensuring Nutrition Asia Group’s sports nutrition and wellness brands come to life in stores through impactful visibility campaigns and shopper activations.
This position focuses on modern trade and convenience formats — including Cold Storage, NTUC FairPrice, Guardian, 7-Eleven, and Decathlon — and works closely with the marketing and account management teams to deliver high-quality in-store marketing programs that support commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Channel & Campaign Planning
- Develop and implement annual trade marketing calendars by channel and market (SG, MY, HK).
- Translate brand objectives into channel-specific activation plans suitable for each retailer format (e.g., gondola ends, impulse checkout, open chiller zones, fitness corners).
- Provide category insights and activation proposals for buyer and account discussions.
- Ensure all trade programs align with brand positioning, retail requirements, and shopper behavior insights.
2. In-Store Visibility & Execution
- Lead the concept development, production, and deployment of all trade marketing materials: header boards, shelf talkers, standees, wobblers, wraps, and digital screens.
- Coordinate with the merchandising team for rollout and execution consistency in-store.
- Work with design agencies and vendors to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor visibility performance through photo reports and campaign evaluations.
3. Shopper Activation Concepts
- Propose engaging shopper activation ideas such as sampling, bundle packs, and limited-time themes.
- Define the concepts and mechanics — while pricing, margins, and retailer submissions will be handled by Account Managers.
- Support coordination and logistics for campaign execution, ensuring alignment with product availability and retailer timelines.
- Evaluate activations through post-campaign reviews and sell-out data where available.
4. Collaboration & Alignment
- Partner closely with Account Managers to synchronize trade calendars, activations, and POSM priorities by retailer.
- Work with the Marketing Team to ensure in-store visibility and campaigns are integrated with broader media and KOL strategies.
- Liaise with Supply Chain and Operations to ensure product and POSM readiness before activation launches.
- Participate in monthly commercial and marketing review meetings to share insights and campaign performance.
5. Budget & Reporting
- Manage trade marketing budgets by brand and channel, ensuring efficient allocation and ROI tracking.
- Maintain a trade marketing tracker and performance dashboard for management visibility.
- Provide post-activation reports and insights to guide future initiatives.
