Job Role Summary:
- To understand and fully align with product development roadmap developed by SCS GHQ including but not limited to IT solutions
- To develop solution design capability to support various type of client opportunities brought in by Solution BD team
- To conceptualize and develop data-driven solution frameworks (e.g., visibility dashboards, performance analytics) that strengthen solution design and regional product enhancement
- Support Opco with customer implementation process until handover
- To provide post-Go Live and enhancement support for implemented client accounts, addressing system and product issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- To manage SCS product data repository for effective internal information exchange
What the Role involves:
Solution design and modelling
- To assist HOD to lead solution design activity to capture actual customer requirements and collect necessary information ensuring quality of supply chain solution models and proposals
Industry trends and new technology implementation
- Participate in Webinars, industry events to search for solution partners
- Be aware of competition developments, identify gap or threat in the market, and reflect in product development strategy
- To Catch up with latest development of YL SCS development and learn from other regions best practices, collate these info and work with HOD to promote within SAOR
Product development and promotion
- Act as ambassador of the supply chain solutions team to promote SCS service and products across business units and RHQ / OPCOs
- To assistOD to collect local and regional business requirement and feedback to HOD and work with GHQ for product enhancement
Required Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
- Preferably with prior working experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Solutions, Business Administration.
- More than 6 years of Key Account Management experience in logistics industry with exposure in providing both freight forwarding and contract logistics solution
- Experience in supply chain IT implementation is a plus
- Excellence knowledge of the logistics industry (freight forwarding, contract logistics, land transportation, etc.)
- Experience in supply chain solution design, process mapping, data analytics, and Power BI dashboard design/development is an advantage.
- Demonstrated excellence skill of strategic and tactics problem solving
- Work well under pressure and commit to deadlines
- Able to work independently and within team and across teams
- Able to demonstrate teamwork, collaboration, adaptability and initiative
- Able to manage well on both internal and external stakeholders
- Proven strength in conceptual thinking and designing
- Excellent people, communications & negotiation skills and intuitive to customer’s business
- Fluent English proficiency, other languages are a plus
