We are seeking a dynamic Regional Logistics Manager to oversee the management and execution of bulk freight (Air/Ocean/Truck) in APAC. Based in Singapore, you'll be responsible for the import/export of finished goods and after-sales products/components, primarily routed between Original Equipment Manufacturers in China and our regional Distribution Centers and Resellers. You will lead day-to-day operations, driving supply chain performance through our logistics suppliers and a dedicated team. Description
- Drive operational excellence with our 3PL partners, focusing on on-time execution, minimizing losses and damage, and ensuring accurate track & trace and freight payment processes.
- Collaborate with 3PLs on strategic initiatives, including capacity management, managing volume fluctuations, achieving cost savings, and implementing process/system improvements.
- Work closely with our freight forwarder resources to ensure smooth operations execution, accurate shipment reporting, and timely resolution of any shipment issues.
- Support new product launches, managing both finished goods and service level components.
- Use strong analytical skills to identify trends that will improve overall cost management and lane capacity.
- Continuously develop and refine logistics capabilities to ensure we can scale our supply chains to support our continued growth.
- Collaborate across internal functions to navigate supply chain uncertainties and ensure seamless operations.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with OEM and Planning teams to optimize shipments, reduce costs, and increase capacity.
- Identify and implement service improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Champion Green initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint by optimizing shipments and exploring alternative shipping methods.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in the logistics industry, with expertise in air, ocean, and truck freight.
- In-depth knowledge of customs export procedures in China, Vietnam, Thailand, India, and Indonesia, as well as import regulations within the Asia Pacific region.
- Ability to identify and drive improvements to key metrics (on-time performance, cost, etc.), systems, reporting, and operational processes.
- Ability to thrive in a matrix organization with a collaborative and creative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Willingness to travel within APAC and internationally.
