Are you passionate about healthcare materials and driving growth in high-impact markets? We are looking for a Regional Segment Manager, Healthcare Polymer to lead and expand our medical polymer portfolio across Southeast Asia. This is a strategic, high-visibility role working closely with global teams, key suppliers, and regional sales organizations to build a sustainable and profitable medical polymers business.

Your Role & Impact

As the Regional Segment Manager, you will own the regional growth strategy for medical-grade polymers and act as the key bridge between global medical segment teams, suppliers, and customers.

You will:

  • Develop and execute the regional growth strategy for the Medical Polymer portfolio across Southeast Asia, aligned with global medical segment priorities.

  • Partner closely with key suppliers and principals, driving joint initiatives and strengthening long-term strategic relationships.

  • Own the segment budget, sales pipeline, and profitability KPIs, working hand-in-hand with regional management.

  • Provide regular reporting and insights to global and regional stakeholders on sales performance, project pipeline, customer activity, and market trends.

  • Lead supplier and portfolio management, including onboarding new suppliers and optimizing the product portfolio.

  • Drive regional marketing initiatives and project pipeline development in collaboration with regional sales teams.

  • Support the acquisition of new medical customers including brand owners, OEMs/ODMs, and molders.

  • Track and translate market and technology trends (medical devices, diagnostics, drug delivery, sustainability, regulatory and sterilization technologies) into commercial opportunities.

  • Act as the central technical and regulatory contact for medical-grade polymers, supporting compliance requirements such as ISO 10993, USP Class VI, DMF, and customer documentation.

  • Support customer application discussions, troubleshooting, qualification processes, and project development.

  • Represent the company at medical industry trade fairs, conferences, and supplier events in Asia and internationally.

What We’re Looking For
  • Min 5 years of experience in polymers, chemicals, medical devices, or healthcare materials—ideally in a commercial, technical, or business development role.

  • Strong understanding of the medical device value chain, manufacturing processes, and regulatory landscape.

  • Proven ability to develop new business, manage key stakeholders, and lead technical-commercial discussions.

  • Degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or Business.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across regions and functions.

  • Willingness to travel across ASEAN and occasionally globally for supplier meetings, customer visits, and industry events.
