A leading automotive company in Singapore is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to act as the primary link between HQ and Importers. This role involves driving sales performance, identifying new market opportunities, and organizing dealer training. The ideal candidate should have 4–6 years of relevant experience in the Motor Vehicle Manufacturing industry and possess excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Regional Sales Manager (Automotive) – $8,000 (ID: 683928)

Market & Importer Liaison—Act as the primary link between HQ and Importers, ensuring effective two‑way communication—transferring market insights to HQ and promoting company’s brand values, standards, and culture to Importers and their dealer networks.

Sales Management—Drive sales performance by setting sales targets, managing the sales budget, administering demo programs, overseeing purchase orders, trading and payment terms, and ensuring optimal stock levels across Importers and dealers.

Network Development—Identify and assess new market opportunities through data analysis and site visits. Lead dealer onboarding, including showroom setup, initial order planning, and provision of essential brand and product materials.

Marketing & Competitor Analysis—Monitor market trends and competitor activity. Coordinate with product marketing on model specifications and pricing, and support the rollout of company services (e.g., finance, insurance, warranty) across the dealer network.

Dealer Engagement & Training—Organize and implement dealer sales training, product seminars, and meetings to strengthen brand knowledge and improve sales effectiveness. Support dealer events such as grand openings and trade shows.

Cross‑Functional Coordination—Collaborate with internal departments including After Sales, Quality, Legal, Homologation, and Corporate Identity to ensure smooth execution of operations, compliance, and consistent brand representation across markets.

Credit & Payment Oversight—Ensure adherence to agreed payment terms, manage credit exposure, and work closely with finance to monitor and control receivables and trading conditions.

Job Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree holder
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in the Motor Vehicle Manufacturing industry; added advantages for those with production experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
  • Results‑oriented with a strong business acumen and analytical mindset
