This role focuses on expanding market share in maritime connectivity solutions, managing key accounts, and acquiring new customers. Successful candidates will have a strong track record in B2B sales within satellite communications, proficiency in English and Mandarin, and be results-oriented with a willingness to travel regionally.

Job description

We are representing a global satellite solutions provider in search of a Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth across the Asia Pacific region. This position focuses on expanding market share in maritime connectivity solutions, managing key accounts and acquiring new customers through both direct and indirect sales channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow revenue for VSAT, L-Band, and LEO satellite communication services.
  • Identify, qualify, and close high-value new business opportunities, particularly within the maritime sector.
  • Manage and expand existing accounts and reseller networks across the region, with a particular focus on China and other key markets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, service implementation, and technical support to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Contribute to sales strategy discussions, bringing insights on customer needs, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within satellite communications, maritime technology, or related ICT industries.
  • Strong knowledge of VSAT, L-Band, and LEO technologies and their commercial applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage customers across different cultural and business environments.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to liaise effectively with mandarin-speaking stakeholders across key regional markets.
  • Results-oriented, highly organised, and able to operate independently while collaborating within global teams.
  • Willingness to travel regionally (approximately 40–50%).
