A leading sales organization in Singapore is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to oversee growth and business development in Singapore and Malaysia. Responsibilities include leading the sales team, developing strategies, and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate should possess at least a degree in Business or Engineering, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management. Strong leadership, negotiation skills, and proficiency in MS Office are essential.
This position assumes overall sales growth and business development responsibility for Singapore, Malaysia and Medical businesses of the organization.
By leading client segmentation and competitor analysis, drive the development of sales/ business strategies
In charge of expanding sales channels and networks
Drive client relationship by leading contract and customer service management
Keep abreast of the market and industry trends to identify new sales/ business opportunities
Serve as a mentor to direct reports and provide strategic guidance
Lead, train and manage the Sales team.
Expected outcomes:
Translate organisational strategic direction into sales/business target and objectives
Set positioning strategies and implementation plans to strengthen all products portfolios and market segments
Set sales/ business channel strategies, targets and relevant key performance metrics or indicators
Develop business reports on potential revenue streams, enhanced product offerings and new business venture to inform business development strategies.
Review sales performance metrics of specific portfolios and/or buyer segments and revise sales targets based on evaluation
Lead review of competitor landscape and customer demand to identify sales/ business opportunities
Lead review of buyer’s overall business cycle to identify buyers’ current and future business needs that can be fulfilled by Sales team
Direct overall negotiation strategy and techniques for acquiring sales accounts
To perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Managing Director.
Minimum: Degree in Business/ Engineering
Minimum 8 years of sales management experience
