Job description
Purpose of the role, summary
  1. This position assumes overall sales growth and business development responsibility for Singapore, Malaysia and Medical businesses of the organization.

  2. By leading client segmentation and competitor analysis, drive the development of sales/ business strategies

  3. In charge of expanding sales channels and networks

  4. Drive client relationship by leading contract and customer service management

  5. Keep abreast of the market and industry trends to identify new sales/ business opportunities

  6. Serve as a mentor to direct reports and provide strategic guidance

  7. Lead, train and manage the Sales team.

Expected outcomes:

  1. Translate organisational strategic direction into sales/business target and objectives

  2. Set positioning strategies and implementation plans to strengthen all products portfolios and market segments

  3. Set sales/ business channel strategies, targets and relevant key performance metrics or indicators

  4. Develop business reports on potential revenue streams, enhanced product offerings and new business venture to inform business development strategies.

  5. Review sales performance metrics of specific portfolios and/or buyer segments and revise sales targets based on evaluation

  6. Lead review of competitor landscape and customer demand to identify sales/ business opportunities

  7. Lead review of buyer’s overall business cycle to identify buyers’ current and future business needs that can be fulfilled by Sales team

  8. Direct overall negotiation strategy and techniques for acquiring sales accounts

  9. To perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Managing Director.

Required Qualifications & Competencies:
  1. Minimum: Degree in Business/ Engineering

  2. Minimum 8 years of sales management experience
