About the Role

Disney Cruise Line (DCL) is seeking a dynamic and passionate Regional Recruiter based in Singapore. This role is pivotal in identifying, engaging and hiring exceptional talent across the region for the shipboard team. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, cultural insight and a deep commitment to excellence in sourcing candidates who embody the Disney brand and values. The Regional Recruiter will work with a highly collaborative team of recruiters based in Celebration, Florida, London, England and The Bahamas. This unique role will help share the future of our crew experience, support high‑volume hiring needs and contribute to the success of the most ambitious growth in DCL history. As a regional subject matter expert in Talent Acquisition, this role will be responsible for defining and developing innovative recruitment strategies that captivate and engage candidates within the region. Identify opportunities to collaborate closely with the DCL Talent Acquisition team and provide education on regional best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Lead full‑cycle recruitment for shipboard roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and selecting crew for onboard positions.
  • Provide comprehensive recruitment support across multiple business areas, including Hotel, HR, Entertainment and Marine & Technical Operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local recruitment partners, agencies and hospitality schools.
  • Collaborate with the global DCL Recruitment team to align hiring strategies, timelines and candidate pipelines.
  • Develop and execute regional recruitment campaigns tailored to local markets and cultural experiences.
  • Conduct interviews for high‑volume applicants both virtually and in person, ensuring consistent and inclusive candidate experience.
  • Represent DCL at regional job fairs, recruitment events and university visits.
  • Utilize recruitment systems and tools to manage candidate data, including tracking progress and candidate reporting.
  • Ability to work independently while building strong relationships in a remote setting.
  • Travel regionally and internationally as needed to support recruitment efforts.
  • Continuously develop business knowledge of the maritime and hospitality industries and share insights with the broader team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in high‑volume recruitment, preferably in the hospitality, cruise or international staffing.
  • Strong understanding of the Southeast Asian labor markets and cultural nuances.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, global environment.

  • Proficiency in recruitment platforms and applicant tracking systems.
  • Passion for Disney's storytelling and guest experience.
  • Fluency in English and one or more Southeast Asia languages.
