Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore seeks an experienced QA/QC professional to oversee effective Quality Control and Assurance systems across overseas subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Engineering and at least 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in QA/QC roles within M&E, HVAC, or Construction. Proficiency in ISO standards and auditing is essential, alongside excellent leadership and communication skills. Competitive salary offered.

Qualifications

• At least 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in QA/QC role in M&E, HVAC and/or Construction Industry.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management principles and experience in implementing QMS.
• Experience and in-depth knowledge in ISO standards – ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, preferably certified Internal auditor or lead auditor.
• In-depth knowledge of M&E engineering quality control and assurance practices.
• HVAC, Mechanical & Electrical design knowledge and associated design software is an advantage.

• Establish and oversee in-process Quality Control and Assurance systems across overseas subsidiaries.
• Conduct Quality, Safety and Environmental inspections to ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Promote best practices in quality, safety, and environment across overseas subsidiaries.
• Educate and enhance knowledge of overseas subsidiaries regarding quality systems.
• Review and establish optimized Business Process workflows and procedures.

Job description

Primary Function

• Establish and oversee effective in-process Quality Control and Assurance systems across overseas subsidiaries.
• Develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Environmental, Health and Safety procedures and documents.
• Conduct Quality, Safety and Environmental compliance inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with ISO standards and specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Gap Analysis – review & grasp current state.
• Documentation Management – prepare, submit, and manage extensive documentation, including manuals, procedures, forms and reports in compliance with ISO standards best practices.
• Incorporate & strengthen QEHS management system and operation practices in compliance with ISO standards and best practices.
• Review and establish optimized Business Process workflows and procedures.
• Prevent/Eliminate Quality Troubles and Safety Accident/Incidents and their associated loss cost.
• Promote and implement best practices in quality, safety and environment across overseas subsidiaries to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure and promote quality, safety and environment conformance.
• Identify non-conformities, manage corrective and preventive actions, and maintain relevant documentation and records.
• Compile and submit reports related to QEHS performances of overseas subsidiaries.
• Educate and enhance knowledge, skills and competency of overseas subsidiaries.
• Digitalize and simplify operation workflow where applicable for improved efficiency and accuracy.
• Other duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements

Work Experience

• At least 5 – 10 years of relevant experience in QA/QC role in M&E, HVAC and/or Construction Industry.
