Job summary

Seagate Technology is seeking a Regional Marketing Intern to support research, development, and execution of application and vertical marketing initiatives across the channel ecosystem at the Shugart campus in Singapore.

You will help create market playbooks, data-driven content, and customer stories, collaborating with regional teams. The role involves strong writing, visuals, and stakeholder engagement while developing new vertical briefs for FY27.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Master or Bachelor in marketing, business, communications, information systems, or a related field.
• Comfort researching technology markets and translating them into clear business narratives.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel; able to build clean slides, one-pagers and simple infographics.
• Familiarity with AI tools for research, writing, and content generation (e.g., generative AI assistants).
• Experience with design or visualization platforms such as Canva, Figma, Power BI, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Research the key applications that drive the most data growth and the longest retention.
• Analyze how these applications align with priority industry verticals and buying centers.
• Develop marketing content and application playbooks with TAM/CAGR, storage thesis, data economics, and workflows.
• Build the repeatable enablement asset kit: category POV one-pagers, infographics, reference-architecture diagrams, vertical briefs, use-case cards, and customer stories.
• Support regional initiatives focused on identifying and developing new vertical market opportunities.
• Support the FY27 goal of originating new vertical opportunities with briefs and use cases per region.
• Conduct market and competitive research with credible third-party sizing and trends.
• Collaborate with regional teams to gather requirements, validate content, test drafts, and capture feedback.
• Prepare executive-ready presentations that summarize findings and opportunities.
