Job summary

Applied Materials is seeking a Carrier Manager within our Singapore operations to oversee global freight performance, coordinate with LSPs, and drive on-time delivery through robust SLA/KPI governance. You will partner with Buyers, Supplier Managers, CBMs, and finance to optimize transport networks and reduce risk.

The role requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and leadership in a fast‑paced, global manufacturing environment. Travel up to 10% is anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Service Level Performance Management: Escalation Management, On Time Performance, Missing, Wrong, & Damage PPM.
• Cross Dock Management and Carrier Management.
• New Volume Onboarding and MBR Participation.
• Establishing clear SLAs/KPIs and reviewing transit with carriers.
• Managing risk: contingencies for delays and port disruptions.
• Drive continuous performance improvements and manage MBR action trackers.
• Project management for specialized cargo and cross-dock programs.
