Job summary

A Swiss manufacturer of compressor products is seeking a talented Business Development Manager in Singapore. You will identify new markets, develop regional strategies based on global directives, and lead M&A strategies. The ideal candidate has over 7 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in pumps or compressors. This role involves significant regional travel and is based in the west area of Singapore.

Our client is a Swiss manufacturer of compressor products for B2B. This rapidly expanding company is looking for a talented Business Development Manager to take on a newly created role.

about the job
  • Identify new markets, new partnerships, new ways to reach existing markets
  • Ensure the development of region, local strategies derived from the global divisional strategy
  • Responsible for the development of the regional M&A strategy
  • Analysis and interpretation of regional trends, market, customers and competition
  • Develop different business models for the expansion of regional foot-print
  • Create reports and business plans for upper management to support strategy review / approval
  • Setting up, implementing and controlling the strategic project portfolio
  • Review risk assessment and financial modelling of new business ventures
  • Prepare, support and involve in execution of strategy workshops and regional meeting
Jobs requirement
  • Master / Degree / Diploma in engineering or equivalent
  • Min 7 years working in regional / APAC sales environment
  • B2B Sales experience in pumps / rotating equipment / compressor
  • Extensive experience in strategic project (partnership, involvement in any M&A project/integration, new products (services) launching, new business model, business plan for new markets)
  • Able to travel to overseas for work assignment (50% travel within APAC)
  • Willing to work in west area of Singaporea (Pioneer / Boon Lay / Lakeside) - main office
