This position reports to: Global HSE Manager (Solutions).

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

The role includes leading a team of HSE experts, developing capabilities and skills, and supporting the business in implementing policies, practices and programs. You will showcase your expertise by driving behavioral change and HSE learning within the organization.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Serves as the primary HSE interface within their assigned area of responsibility and cultivates a high-performance culture with a strong focus on HSE.
• Supporting line managers and supervisors in understanding obligations, liabilities and requirements.
• Ensuring appropriate tools and measures are in place and used effectively, and reporting the HSE incidents.
• Reporting on HSE performance and progress with respect to the Group objectives.
• Drive behavioral change and ensuring HSE capabilities are optimized and aligned to standards and best practices.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Ability to demonstrate experience in managing Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) from policies, standards, programs, and practices
• Experienced in embedding an exemplary health and safety culture and a strong focus on the environment across their respective organization.
• Oversees HSE risk assessment conducted by line management and ensures all necessary preventive measures against the identified hazards are implemented.
• You are at ease communicating in English; one other Asia Pacific language is a plus.
