Qualifications

Overview

Our client is a MNC that manufacture and supply capital mechanical equipment. They are a world leader with headcount of more than 3000 pax in APAC region. They are currently seeking a Regional HR Director to join their team. This role will be have to be based in Malaysia and will be on a local package. Base salary is up to 700,000MYR.

Responsibilities
  • Contributes to strategic planning, decision-making and implementation of the Global HR strategy & priorities for Manufacturing & Supply Chain that balances the company's global vision with current and long-term business objectives and needs.
  • Develops, implements, and leads all workforce planning initiatives within Manufacturing & Supply Chain.
  • Leads the implementation of HR Core Processes, i.e., HR strategy & policy, Workforce Planning, Talent Management & Acquisition, L&D, Total Rewards & OD/OE.
  • Translates business strategy and objectives into goals, plans, and tactics.
  • Develops and implements HR strategies that effectively achieve business results in a dynamic environment.
  • Responsible for building talent, capability and succession planning within the Manufacturing & Supply Chain team in the region.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 12-15 years of progressive HR leadership experience in MNCs
  • HR experience related to multi-country manufacturing and plant experience is a must
  • Experience working with China's manufacturing plant is a must
  • Minimum of 8 years in a leadership role, preferably in a matrix organization.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in building high-performance teams.
  • Senior level coaching, counseling and consulting skills.
  • Strategic Thinking & Ability to develop and translate strategies and plans into action.
  • Ability to work in/with regional/global operating matrix organizations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in labor relations, bargaining and negotiation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills (internal & external).
